I bought the Garmin Nuvi 600 a few weeks ago from Amazon.com and have been using it since. I have to agree that the instructions are a bit light on content. I don’t even know why they bother including them. They aren’t really needed. You can just take it out of the box, turn it on, and away you go. You can figure it all out in five to ten minutes. The verbal instructions are loud and crystal clear. The super bright widescreen display is also crystal clear. Both very important for making it easy to use while driving. I’ve used the Nuvi 600 driving around the city and on longer trips and I must say I’m enjoying driving a lot more. It really takes the stress out of it. I personally think this is the best satnav.
